This is a very rare black phantom crystal point from Brazil, from an very old collection that can not be found anymore.

This clear Quartz has an inclusion of Manganese trapped inside of it which resembles the image of a crystal. This is called a Ghost Phantom. There are several rafters of different color shades.

Phantoms are formed when the growth of a crystal has been interrupted and then begins to grow again. The color of Phantoms will vary from crystal to crystal, depending upon the type of mineral of which they are made.
